M. Faure of the French Delegation ,made a long presentation on Germanization in Western Europe and on persecution on poitical, racial and religious grounds. On Feb. 1, 1946 he called to the stand Emil Reuter, a lawyer and President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He testified that although the Germans never proclaimed the annexation of Luxembourg, German measures were equivalent to an annexation. Approximately 4,000 Luxembourgers were deported to concentration camps.
