Each year the Law, Youth and Citizenship Program of the New York State Bar Association & the Robert H. Jackson Center sponsor an essay contest to accompany the annual Young Readers Program. The book for the 2017 Young Readers Program is A Mighty Long Way: My Journey to Justice at Little Rock Central High School by Carlotta Walls LaNier.
