Thanks for Giving!

Your support is making a difference this #GivingTuesday as your generous gift will be used to support educational programs that inspire, inform, and offer civic engagement for young people, legal professionals, and lifelong learners alike.

Today we honor Justice Robert H. Jackson’s continuing impact some 80 years+ after his appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Jackson’s Supreme Court decisions not only impacted the lives of Fred Korematsu, the Barnette sisters, President Harry S. Truman, and Linda Brown, but spoke to the promise of this nation as a haven for equal protection under the law, and where no one is free to operate above it

The Jackson Center picked up the baton of Jackson’s legacy to create educational programs for students from 8 to 80+ that invite discussion, exploration, and advancement of Jackson’s principles. Your gift helps us provide:

  •     Annual grade school programs on human rights, immigration, the Holocaust and women’s suffrage
  •     Annual Young Readers Lecture to foster a love of reading and writing for middle school students
  •     Annual Supreme Court Lecture to examine and analyze Court decisions issued at the term end
  •     Professional Education seminars for professionals on topical legal public interest issues
  •     Stipends for college interns to work and study 10 weeks at the Jackson Center each summer
  •     Unique local, national and international forums on contemporary issues of law

You can make a difference this #GIVINGTUESDAY with a suggested donation, but gifts of any amount are appreciated!
