Nuremberg (2025) Film Screening & Talk-Back with Author Jack El-Hai

January 30, 2026 @ 6:00 pm - 9:15 pm

Join us at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts for a special screening of Nuremberg (2025), followed by a live talk-back with author Jack El-Hai, whose book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist inspired the film.

Starring Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Colin Hanks, and John Slattery, Nuremberg tells the story of U.S. Army psychiatrist Dr. Douglas M. Kelley, tasked with assessing the mental state of Nazi leaders awaiting trial at Nuremberg. His psychological interviews with figures such as Hermann Göring raised enduring questions about guilt, responsibility, and the nature of evil.

Following the film, El-Hai will discuss his research and the fascinating real-life relationship between Kelley and the defendants he studied, as well as how Nuremberg brings this history to life on screen, what Hollywood got right, and what it reimagined.

Tickets available online here or at the Reg Lenna box office.
