Friends of the Jackson Center,
As we say farewell to 2025, we simultaneously welcome in our 25th year at the Jackson Center. While you prepare for your year-end celebrations, take comfort knowing that not all festivities will end come January 2. In fact, they will be just beginning. Our anniversary party will continue at the Center throughout the entirety of 2026 – and you’re invited.
This year’s theme, Accountability – the Role We Have, guided our programs and internal conversations. I know you invest in our work because you see what we see: declining trust in our institutions, reduced civic participation, polarized communities, and global challenges to the rule of law. The Jacksonian legacy provides guidance to navigate these opportunities. Building on this year’s work, we have planned an ambitious collection of programs for our anniversary year.

For 25 years, the Robert H. Jackson Center has promoted equality, fairness, and justice. We've encouraged you to explore, learn, and have meaningful discussions together. Justice Jackson's wisdom reminds us to remain engaged, to not shy away from challenging conversations, to voice our convictions, and work alongside neighbors to improve our communities to build a better world. While reflecting on our past and contemplating our future, the answer was clear.
I am proud to announce our 2026 theme: 25 Years of Asking Questions. Each month, we will explore a new question through a lecture series held at the Center. We invite you to join us on this journey, to bring your questions, and to share your thoughts.
We cannot do this without you. Your support enables us to educate students and teachers, mentor young adults, and foster vital discussions on civics, justice, and humanitarian issues. This work requires deep commitment. We are planting seeds, knowing they may bloom well into the future.
Please consider a year-end gift to the Center. Your investment in us helps ensure that the enduring principles Jackson stood for continue to inspire and guide current and future generations.
We are deeply grateful for your partnership in this important work.
