Noted WWII historian Dr. Gerhard Weinberg will speak at 12:00pm on Monday, Sept. 24, at the Robert H. Jackson Center. This will be the first in a series of planned speakers in the Al and Marge Brown lecture series on WWII established at the Jackson Center. The interview will focus on the rise of the Nazi party that forced a young Gerhard to flee his native Germany. That development, in turn, led to his lifelong interest in researching and writing about WWII. This event is part of a series of events sponsored in part by Chautauqua County Veterans Service Agency.
