THIS PROGRAM IS GEARED FOR GRADES 6 AND UP WITH THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS:

GRADE 6 - teachers read aloud selections from We Were There, Too! For each Chautauqua County school that uses this book and reserves seats for the program, a copy of the text will be provided by The Robert H. Jackson Center.

GRADES 7 & UP - Students must have read Claudette Colvin, Twice Toward Justice before attending the program, or teachers may read the book aloud to students. E-Books are available through www.Borders.com. In addition to Claudette Colvin, We Were There, Too! may be used to support the study of the Civil Rights Movement as well and other U.S. history topics.

ADMISSION CHARGE: $3.50 PER PERSON may be billed through Erie 2 BOCES/Arts in Education CoSer 403 under the condition that the prior approval form is submitted and the standards objective section is completed and meets the statewide criteria.
