Professor John Q. Barret, the Jackson Center's Elizabeth S. Lenna Fellow & Board Member, will deliver a lecture at the New York City Bar Association on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
The focus of his lecture, which is being featured at this year's Stephen R. Kaye Memorial Program, is "Robert H. Jackson: Lawyer, Justice, Nuremberger...New Yorker." Barrett will be welcomed by the Hon. Albert M. Rosenblatt, President of the Historical Society of the Courts of the State of New York, and introduced by the Hon. Judith S. Kaye, Former Chief Judge of the State of New York.
This event, which is co-sponsored by the Historical Society for the Courts of the State of New York and The Robert H. Jackson Center, will take place at the New York City Bar, located at 42 West 44th Street, New York, NY. There will be a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the program starts at 6:30 p.m. These events are free and open to the public.
