The Library of Congress (LOC) is a valuable site for research in American History or just about type of research. Easily searchable data bases contain a constantly expanding body of information. The LOC contains numerous library sites within the overarching library. American Memory concentrates on U.S. History and culture. The Global Gateway includes world culture and resources. America’s Library is dedicated to stories and documents for youth and adults; a great place for leisure study as well as classroom projects. THOMAS, names after Thomas Jefferson, contains vast stores of information on the U.S. Legislature. There are online galleries at the Exhibitions site detailing great American and global projects, expeditions, art, and much more.
