“That four great nations, flushed with victory and stung with injury stay the hand of vengeance and voluntarily submit their captive enemies to the judgment of the law is one of the most significant tributes that Power has ever paid to Reason.” — from Jackson's Opening Statement before the International Military Tribunal

"Perpetrators" Exhibit and Program

PosterThrough special arrangements with the Tennessee Holocaust Commission, the Jackson Center has scheduled an exhibit of prints by internationally recognized artist Sid Chafetz.

“Perpetrators” is a collection of portraits and biographical text depicting the men who implemented the policies of the Third Reich and carried out the atrocities of the Holocaust. Many of these men were defendants in the Nuremberg trial where Robert H. Jackson served as Chief U.S. Prosecutor.

In conjunction with the exhibit, Mr. Chafetz spoke at the Jackson Center at noon on Monday, September 17.
