“That four great nations, flushed with victory and stung with injury stay the hand of vengeance and voluntarily submit their captive enemies to the judgment of the law is one of the most significant tributes that Power has ever paid to Reason.” — from Jackson's Opening Statement before the International Military Tribunal

A Conversation with Harold Burson

Harold Burson, founding chairman of Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communication counseling firm, will be at the Jackson Center at 12:30 p.m. to talk about his experiences as an Army news correspondent for American Forces Network, where he did 15-minute nightly broadcasts covering the Nuremberg Trial of leading Nazi war criminals. Burson is the only reporter to have interviewed Justice Jackson during the trial.
