Fund-Raising Auction and Dinner Held Saturday March 6

The Robert H. Jackson Center and the Scottish-Rite Consistory joined forces in a fund-raising auction and dinner on Saturday, March 6, at the Jackson Center.

Proceeds from the event will benefit youth education programs at the Jackson
Center and the Masonic Jackson Scholarship Essay Program.

Ludwig Auction volunteered its services for the benefit.

The dinner took place from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6, and the auction began at 7 p.m.

A partial listing of items to be auctioned included: limited-edition print of
Robert H. Jackson, a Colorado Ski or Golf Adventure with six nights lodging
at Copper Mountain; a Holiday Valley Golf two-night getaway; four Sabres
Tickets; four Firestone tires; a plane ride with pilot Rolly Kidder; an oil painting
ship scene by Murice Tanner; and a Wurlitzer Studio Piano/Upright.

Other Items included: Sikes early office chairs; Roger Tory Peterson Blue Bird print; oak Jamestown Lounge arm chair; “Gone with the Wind” lamps; two Bentwood stools; oak square tables; lifted back side chairs; and a gold leaf mirror. On sale will be Chautauqua Region books and wine.

Many local merchants provided gift certificates and many local restaurants donated dinner packages.
