Past Master of Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 145 F. & A.M. and a Past District Deputy Grand Master of Chautauqua District. Other Masonic memberships include Jamestown Scottish Rite Bodies, where he is a Past Thrice Potent Master of The Lodge of Perfection, and now Orator. Consistory years he was Scottish Rite reunion class director.

He received the Meritorious Service Award from the New York State Council of Deliberation in June, 1971. He is a member of Royal Arch Masons, & Jamestown Commandery., Quator Coronate Lodge No, 2076, London, England, American Lodge of Research, Dunkirk Council Royal & Select Masters, Expiritu Santo, New Hebrides Military Masonic Club of New York.

Brother Weeks has been active in civic affairs. He was Mayor of the City of Jamestown, New York from 1952-1953, served on the Chautauqua County Board of Supervisors, and four years on the Jamestown Board of Education. He has been President of the Jamestown Bar Association, President of the Jamestown Republican Club, on the Executive Committee of the Cerebral Palsy Association, and President of the Chautauqua County Historical Society.

He is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Jamestown, New York and was a vestry man for nine years. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1931, attended Colgate University, George Washington University and the Law Schools of Cornell University and University of Buffalo.

During World War II he was a communication and operations officer at the naval bases in Key West and Miami, Florida, and anti-submarine warfare naval base in the South Pacific.

He practices law in Jamestown in association with Brother Warren T. Erickson. He is a world traveler and has visited many lodges in foreign countries, and has entertained a number of lodges with slide talks on his trips to different countries.
