Dr. John Lattimer, famed urologist and physician at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York, visited the Jackson Center on September 17th and 18th, 2002.
Dr. Lattimer, known world-wide for his work in combating renal tuberculosis and other diseases, is also well-known as the physician who tended to the medical needs of the Nazi defendants at the War Crimes Trial of the International Military Tribunal held in Nuremberg at the end of World War II.
In 1999, Dr. Lattimer compiled his experiences at Nuremberg and his views on the health questions surrounding Adolph Hitler in a book entitled: “Hitler’s Fatal Sickness and Other Secrets of the Nazi Leaders.”

September 17th at the Robert Jackson Center in an event sponsored by WCA Hospital,
The Chautauqua County Health Network and M & T Bank. He spoke again at
breakfast the next day at the Center at an event sponsored by several Rotary
Clubs of the Jamestown-Chautauqua County area. Both events were well attended.
