“That four great nations, flushed with victory and stung with injury stay the hand of vengeance and voluntarily submit their captive enemies to the judgment of the law is one of the most significant tributes that Power has ever paid to Reason.” — from Jackson's Opening Statement before the International Military Tribunal

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee of the Robert H. Jackson Center consists of four distinguished attorneys whose lives were profoundly influenced by Justice Jackson:  Henry T. King, Eugene C. Gerhart, Werner Von Rosenstiel and Stanley Weeks.

We are grateful that they have offered to serve as our Senior Advisors.  They attend various Center functions, speaking on their experiences with Justice Jackson and sharing their perspectives on the body of law that resulted from the Nuremberg Trials, and how that law can be interpreted in today's world. Their advice on many issues has been invaluable to us.
